Arab States League and Iraqi Nakheel Organization at Al-Mutanabi Street

Arab States League delegation visited (Al-Mutanabbi), Street accompanied by the head of Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers: Dr. Mujahid Abu al-Hail, where Assistant Secretary-General for the Media and Communication Sector Ahmed Rashid Khattabi, Undersecretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Information Youssef Mahmoud, Director General of the Arab States Broadcasting Union Abdel Rahim Suleiman and a number of delegations of Arab countries participating in the meetings of the Executive Office and the Permanent Media Committee at the university, toured Al-Mutanabbi Street and its libraries. They eventually settled in the famous Shabandar Café to drink “sour tea ".

 The Arab delegation expressed its great admiration for Al-Mutanabbi Street, its pioneers, and its historical and cultural features. 

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Iraqi Palms Agency expressed his great pleasure for visiting Al-Mutanabbi Street, indicating that this street represents the heart of Iraqi culture and the identity of Baghdadi architecture. 

The Iraqi Palms Cultural Organization was the last station of the Arab delegation tour in the city of peace.   .

Everyone was briefed about the Iraqi Palms Organization, and saw its technical facilities, halls and heritage collections. 

It is worth mentioning that Iraqi Palms Organization has opened yesterday evening the women's plastic exhibition entitled "Women in a Painting", which will last for three days, at the hall of the international musician Naseer Shamma, in the organization's headquarters at Al-Waziriyah district, at 4 p.m.  The exhibition contained many paintings that represented the societal situations, heritage, and the Iraqi woman and her impact on society. The exhibition was highly praised by the Arab delegation and the attendees, including specialists and academics, for the wonderful paintings and fruitful comments the exhibition presented, and they admired the beauty of the hall.
