The Iraqi House for Fashions is looking for ways to cooperate with the Political Prisoners Establishment

A meeting took place on Tuesday, 21st September 2021 between the undersecretary of Ministry of Culture and Antiquities, the Director General of the Iraqi House for Fashions: Imad Jassem and a delegation from Political Prisoners Establishment. They discussed the methods of cooperation that would serve the artistic and cultural reality. The Prisoners Establishment revealed that it has its own museum at the site of the Martyr's Monument, it indicated that there are plans to add some touches to the museum through some paintings produced by the house; In order to provide to the museum some elegance and beauty. It will be within the (Transitional Justice Conference), which will be held soon, and this museum will be opened to symbolize the suffering of political prisoners in the past era.
Mr. Jassim indicated that the house is ready to supply the museum with some paintings after obtaining official and legal approvals that allow him to donate these paintings, and he instructed to appoint a committee from the house's artists to visit the museum for the purpose of preparing ways and requirements for cooperation before its opening.
He added: that the house will host the children of political prisoners and involve them in certain courses to develop their skills and experience
