Abdul Ghani Shahd announces Iraq's victory over its Emirati brother put it on the right direction

The match between Iraq and the Emirates, hosted by King Fahd Stadium, ended with the Iraqi team winning with a clean goal scored by Hussein Ali in the 52nd minute. The coach of the national team, Abdul Ghani Shahd, explained in a press conference held after the end of the match that he dealt realistically in the match compared to the tools of the UAE team.

 Shahd continued, “We suffered a bit at the beginning of the game; because of the pressure of not scoring. We were looking forward to win the match, and at the end we did it”. He emphasized that the match was as a final one, and   “we have taken a step on the right direction”.
